Critical Patch - Alpha 1.4.2 (17.7.2025) [Download]


Critical:

● Fixed New Worlds not saving (Yikes)

● Fixed Auto-Save setting not saving

● Fixed an error when shooting a gun on the ground


World Editor:

● You can now force selected slabs and cards to move withouth colliding with world by holding Control

● Drawing no longer snaps to slabs unless you press Control

● You can draw in the air by holding Control

● Added Set Color button when editing cards

● Selection Highlight is now a bit transparent

● Fixed duplicated cards not having custom colors


Other:

● Blocks placed on non-block walls no longer have a gap in between

Universe Editor:

● You can now type = and : if you press control while typing

The Even More Color Update - Alpha 1.4.1 (16.7.2025)


Karhula:

● New Song "5" by ChoppyMonster

● New Heart textures (Game is now 100% AI art free)

● A lot of block types are no longer climbable

● Glass is now a bit blurry

● Winter tree textures are now more centered (Thanks EssentiallyFalse)


Worlds:

● Added Backups system

● Auto-save is now a setting you can turn off (on by default)


World Editor:

● You can now also paint cards like Trees and Bears!!!

● You can even change the color of light sources like Torches

● Paint is now its own mode in World Editor

● Removed Sculpt Mode (it was too broken, nobody even used it)

● Made minimum Pencil Thickness even smaller

● Fixed Create Slope having sensitive height setting

● Drops are now automatically turned off when entering World Edit for the first time, and world drops are now always on when in survival mode

Other:

● Crosshairs now invert colors like in minecraft

● Shadow Distance setting can go up to 200% now instead of 100%

● Fixed a bug where with master volume 0%, you would still hear music for a split second when quitting game


Modding:

● Texture Sides property has been removed! The game now automatically finds the value correctly :D

● You can now customize light range settings for Flashlights types and cards with "Give Light = Yes"

● Fixed a bug where fonts wouldnt get fully updated when switching between universes


Universe Editor:

● Added new console window for reporting issues found when loading the universe (such as texture missings)

● Fixed a bug that caused a huge mess if a list defined with : only had one element

● Fixed editor sometimes saving the txt file every frame, causing the world to go slow mo (not from lag tho)

● Fixed type menu sometimes not registering the type you clicked to edit

● Fixed breaking lines by pressing the delete key at the end of a line

● Fixed caret not being in the right line when deleting a line

● You can now force delete = keys by pressing shift + backspace

● You can now force a new line by pressing shift + enter


Menus:

● Added Credits for Universe and Game

● Mirror blocks no longer mirror in menus (It was really confusing)

● Fixed Block Window settings not updating if hotbar slot changed

● Fixed Block Window not displaying layered blocks correctly if the height was less than one

● Fixed being able to scroll color past the spectrum

● Fixed version number and control tips not having shadows

● Fixed inventory window not having shadows

● Fixed inventory's spawn menu stuff being at the bottom on small menu scales

● Fixed an error when opening inventory while in creative mode, before ever openning tab menu

Slabs:

● Fixed some collision bugs with rectangular slabs

The Color Update - Alpha 1.4.0 (9.7.2025)


Karhula:

● Added Glass Block

● Added Inverted Window Block

● Added New Worlds made by the community!

● Removed the Green Gem Icon, turned out its copyrighted by EA and Sims (womp womp)

Blocks:

● You can now paint blocks ANY COLOR!!!

● Blocks can now be even Smaller

● New Menu for setting Block Size

● You can scroll the block preview to adjust it's size quickly (control+scroll combo too)

● Added toggle option for Block Rotation

● Blocks no longer replace the mined block (lol that was a dumb idea, my bad)

● Blocks no longer bounce a bit when placed (this fixed some bugs)

● Block icons are now slightly bigger in type menus

● Fixed Textures Stretching with non-cube shaped blocks

● Fixed block faces not culling correctly before having your eye go underground

● Fixed connected blocks missing faces if they had cutout textures


Menus:

● You can now Import Mods from the main menu by selecting zip files

● Improved Loading Menu, it now shows all the textures its loading :D

● Added Spawn Menu next to the Inventory Window (too many items ahhh)

● Improved deleting dragged items when dropped into type menus

● Added Window Resolution Setting

● New buttons for Entering and Exiting the World and Universe Editors

● Input fields are a lot better now that you can select them

● Fixed spawn menu's first block item having # in its name


World Editor:

● Grid looks a lot better now

● You can now press C to Move Down while Flying

● Drawing Mode's Snapping and Length settings have been merged into one "Pencil Thickness"

● Fixed how setting a slab height was innaccurate and unstable

● When setting a slab's height, it will no longer forcefully move the slabs above it, Unless you press control

● You can no longer place drawing dots if youre looking too up

● Drawings dots now appear a bit smaller

● Player is no longer bright when in creative mode

● Removed Spawn Item button from the Inventory Mode Menu

● Opening inventory now automatically sets World Editor to Inventory Mode

● Merging slabs is now done with a menu button in Draw Mode (less accidents now)

● Fixed slab height being able to be so small that it made it no longer selectable

● Fixed cursor position in world (like drawing, populating) being off when game pixels was less than 100%


Universe Editor:

● Mods now have their Own Folder next to the Worlds and Content folder

● You can now set tiling settings for slab textures in slab .txt, this replaces texture setting files

● Effect intensitys in .txt are now in %

● Colors in .txt now use %

● You can now use 0.0-1.0 values instead for 0-100% values if you want (mostly added for forward compatibility)

● Universe Editor now has a crosshair

● Sounds now have Doppler Intensity as zero by default


Other:

● Added Smooth Look mode, default bind is F8

● Songs are now more randomized, you wont hear the same song in a row

● You can now hear music in the menu

● Giant trees now rotate in a way that isnt disorienting

● Adjusted how quickly Haze effect disappears from screen

● Errors in game now get catched and prevent the game from crashing so much I guess

● Removed items bobbing for now, it was feeling too fake

● Renamed game pixels and menu pixels in settings file

● Game no longer gets stuck at "waiting for sounds to load" if it takes too long

● Its now less likely for Third Person Movement to feel diagonal


Other Bug Fixes:

● Fixed camera sometimes shaking (view bobbing bug)

● Fixed HUD having a thick black outline when screen has haze effect

● Fixed being able to pickup a deleted block forever (it would spam the sound too)

● Fixed a bug where shadows would not get enabled if the shadow quality got rised from zero to above while the sun was frozen

● Fixed a bug where slabs would sometimes fall too slowly

● Fixed scrollbar hitbox being too long when window is also resizable

● fixed fog and fadeout settings having wrong default values when reseting with middle mouse button

● Fixed overlayed objects being full res when Game Pixels setting was less than 100%






The Haze Update - Alpha 1.3.3 (11.6.2025)


● Left click is now default for building with blocks

● Right click with a block in hand now replaces the hit slab instead of breaking it

● Made the haze effect a turn offable setting

● Loading Universe Screen now shows the Universe Icon


Karhula:

● Haze now fly

● Jawns now always jump when walking


Animals:

● Added "Fly" property. This means how much they move in the direction their look at, like World Editor's Ghost Movement.

● Added "Always Jump" property

● Added "Jump While Walking" property


Bug fixes:

● Fixed a crash related to not finding the latest universe or world

● Fixed world title moving forever to the left if it overlapped with the screen edge






The Haze Update - Alpha 1.3.2 (7.6.2025)


● Fixed VOIDMA/GREENMA, everything was green, blue, big, broken, complete chaos. For people with some specific OS languages.

● Fixed not being able to load models in the new Printer

● Printer now uses the voima font for texts

● Songs no longer have doppler effect






The Haze Update - Alpha 1.3.1 (7.6.2025)


● Fixed Forever slabs causing Forever Haze

● Made Haze Skin fall slower

● Fixed Ice not being visible

● Forever Blocks no longer have building previews

● It now takes longer for the first song to play

● Fixed songs being able to overlap if the song wait settings were too low






The Haze Update - Alpha 1.3.0 (7.6.2025)


Karhula:

● Nature Gaze universe is now called Karhula

● Updated icon from mossy eye to the Bear

● Made songs more rare

Printer:

Animals:

● Dont stare at the Haze....

● Animals now forget what they are chasing if they bump into some Haze

● Jump height is now affected by Animal Scale

● Fixed aggressive animals like Jawn forever fighting with one another (They were healing by kissing while fighting)

● Added ability to set ignore types for Animals


Blocks:

● Fixed collision issues when climbing Walls made out of blocks

● Fixed movement being slowed down when walking on a Floor made out of blocks

● Fixed block textures not being seemless with neighbouring blocks

● Fixed hazey blocks being invisible in menus

● Added tooltip for Copying Blocks with Middle Mouse Button

● Fixed a missing face bug when blocks check for neighbours (Forgot to compare rotations)

● Fixed falling through duplicated blocks sometimes


Guns:

● You can now choose to only Spin a Slab and not give it any knockback by holding control when shooting with a Fan/Gun


World Edit:

● You can now adjust your Player Size when using the World Editor

● Duplicated slabs buildings no longer fall and crumble.

● Added a Keybind for deleting selected slabs and things (Defualt bind is Backspace)

● Fixed the cursor accuracy becoming really unstable and shakey the further away you went from the world center

● Fixed Water and Other Slabs with Effects not being Highlighted

● Fixed Slabs having their textures move when dragging the slabs

● Added Warning Popup for when selecting Sculpt Mode (The mode sucks)

● Things spawned with the World Editor now spawn with maxhealth-1 instead of maxhealth/4

● Right Mouse Button on an Unselected Slab/Thing no longer drags it, it must be selected first (Was too easy to do accidentally)

● When setting a slab height, it no longer gets deleted if you set its height to the minimum

● Made Selection Shape no longer zclip on the floor

● Added button for Draw Selection in Select Mode

● Other buttons in Select Mode are now hidden when setting pivot


Slabs:

● Fixed Slabs getting rotated in crazy ways (Thanks vinesaunce vinny 💀)

● Improved performance by making Slabs update their texture resolution in 20fps and less when regenerating their health

● Fixed Slabs not having correct pivots after being shifted in a slope tower

● Slabs can no longer have their pivot be outside of its bounding box


Menus:

● Added the ability to Import Worlds and even Universes from within the game. From the main menus, Select an unzipped folder.

● Openning the Pause Menu no longer auto-saves the world (Less lag)

● Currently Played Song's title is now shown in the corner when the Pause Menu is open

● Updated F3 debug menu with more info

● Added the ability to reset a window's size by pressing Middle Mouse Button on the Window's Resize Button

● Fixed scrollbar having an offset when clicking with cursor

● Fixed menu values not always using . for decimal, depending on the OS language

● Fixed being able to name a world something invalid in Windows


Universe Edit:

● Renamed Dream Effect to Haze

● Fog Color is now a customizable setting in world.txt

● Falldamage is now customizable setting in world.txt

● Fixed crash when spawning a Universe Editor

● Fixed Universe Editor lines breaking when deleting too much text

● Fixed custom texture.txt file not saving TEXTURE tag with a newline after it

The Running Update - Alpha 1.2.0 (21.5.2025)

Player:

● Actually Fixed blocks being equipped immediately after being dropped

● Fixed not being able to put items into some slots

● Fixed sky not rotating correctly in third person

● Fixed bear shadows pointing in the wrong direction, also optimized it slightly

● Fixed World Editor window being expanded by drawing

The Copy Paste Update - Alpha 1.1.2 (9.5.2025)


Temporary:

● Player can no longer create clans


World Edit:

● Added the ability to select slabs and things by drawing a shape by pressing CONTROL

● Moved Mode icons to the left instead of being at the top

● Added the ability to delete all Things by type

World Editor:

● Added the ability to select multiple slabs and things at once

Things:

● Bears are less likely to get stuck climbing up a roof now. They will now lose interest and turn around.

● Improved movement while inside slabs

● Fixed items going into the ground when dropping them

● thing files now have touch width instead of touch radius (they get automatically converted)

● Fixed torches not giving light when being carried

● Adjusted pointlight and flashlight brightness


UI:

● Added Made By property to world details

● Added ability to clear stats in world details

● Made loading bar progress more accurate

● Added voima version and universe name to the loading screen

● Added new warning screen if world.txt has no playable characters defined

● Fullscreen resolution is now always the full screen resolution

● Improved duplicate world's name generation

● Fixed not being able to open pause menu while respawning

● Fixed bug where Controls icons disappeared after reseting controls


Other:

● Made slab and thing files use .txt instead of .slab and .thing. They still work, but they get automatically converted into .txt

● Now when the game loads the txt files, it will format them on the next frame, instead of on the same frame.

● Added a smooth transition for switching between first person and third person

● Made loading world icons smoother, and they now only get loaded if the universe gets opened in the menu

● Smooth Lighting setting now saves

● Universe Editor now saves Ghost Movement and Movement Speed

● Fixed a crash related to deleting the loaded universe in game

● Fixed highlighted slabs from causing a crash

● Adjusted various Unity settings






Alpha 1.0.7 (10.3.25)


● FINALLY FIXED GHOST BLOCKS

● Fixed the WASD crash

● New blocks no longer fall when attached to different sized blocks/slabs (Not a perfect solution, they still fall when hit/updated)

● Instead of spam clicking, You can now hold down to keep mining when holding a block

● Improved the World Editor's Spawn Item button, You can now drag and drop items straight to the hotbar, not just to the inventory window

● Added loading screen for loading universes

● Universes load a lot smoother now
